severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts possible. A few storms
will also contain locally heavy downpours, with a small risk of
isolated flash flooding.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of north central
Livingston, southwestern Monroe and southeastern Genesee Counties
through 215 PM EDT...

At 135 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Le Roy, or 12 miles east of Batavia, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, half inch hail, and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible. Heavy rains could cause minor flooding in poor
         drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Le Roy, Caledonia, and Mumford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
