This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...Rest of Tonight.

Thunderstorms are expected through tonight across the Oklahoma
Panhandle and the northern two thirds of the Texas Panhandle.
Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible with damaging
winds the primary threat, but large hail will be possible.
Although the threat is very low, a tornado can't be ruled out.
Flash flooding will also be possible. A Flood Watch is in effect
until 7 AM for the Oklahoma Panhandle and parts of the north
central and northeast Texas Panhandle. In addition, a Severe
Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the Oklahoma Panhandle and all
of the northern Texas Panhandle until 7 AM CDT Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms will be possible Friday night and again Saturday
night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed tonight.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Texas
County through MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1127 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles south of Elkhart, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Eva and Hough.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
the Panhandle of Oklahoma.
