...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Litchfield and east central Dutchess Counties through 645 PM EDT...

At 606 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gaylordsville, or near New Milford, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
New Milford, Kent, Sharon, New Preston, Cornwall Bridge,
Gaylordsville, Washington, Goshen, Warren, Cornwall, Bantam, West
Goshen, Skiff Mountain, Lower Merryall, Marble Dale, North Kent,
Bulls Bridge, Upper Merryall, Cornwall Bridge Pottery and
Mitcheltown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

At 610 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Boonville, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ohio, Northwood, Grant, Gray, Nobleboro, Black Creek Reservoir,
Wheelertown, Woodin Corners, Bull Hill, Wilmurt, Pardeeville Corners,
Wilmurt Corners, Morehouseville and North Wilmurt.
