This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon into
this evening. Large hail and strong winds are the main threats.

Central South Dakota will see temperatures soar toward the century
mark today. Feels-like temperatures will be between 100 and 105
degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday will be the hottest day across the region. Temperatures
will climb into the 90s to lower 100s.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon into this
evening.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of north central
Traverse and northeastern Roberts Counties through 915 PM CDT...

At 849 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Victor, or near Rosholt, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Rosholt around 855 PM CDT.
  Whiterock Colony around 905 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this storm include Mud Lake Landing
and Wheaton.
