.SYNOPSIS...Temperatures will remain above average as we continue to
see a daily chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms.

&&

.DISCUSSION...A strong ridge of high pressure aloft will continue to
result in above normal daytime temperatures through the weekend.
Drier air across eastern sections into NM will limit thunderstorm
chances there through at least early next week. Thereafter,
ensembles favored some deeper moisture working back into the area
next week for better thunderstorm coverage areawide. Until then, the
best chance of daily thunderstorms will be in the mountains and from
Tucson south and westward. Temperatures will also lower a few
degrees next week as moisture and rain chances increase.

.AVIATION...Valid through 15/00Z.
ISOLD -SHRA, then ISOLD-SCT -SHRA/TSRA with CIGS 8-12k ft AGL
possible this afternoon and evening. SFC winds generally less
than 12 kts with the exception of gusty and erratic thunderstorm
outflows. Aviation discussion not updated for TAF amendments.

.FIRE WEATHER...Temperatures will remain several degrees above
average through the weekend with enough moisture for daily
thunderstorm chances. Strong and erratic outflow winds from some
storms.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central Pima
County through 215 PM MST...

At 136 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Corona De Tucson, or 9 miles east of Sahuarita, moving west at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tucson, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Drexel
Heights, South Tucson, Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation, East
Sahuarita, Summit, Corona De Tucson, Tucson International Airport,
Valencia West, Tucson Estates, Saguaro National Park East, Rita Ranch
and San Xavier Mission.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 10 between mile markers 261 and 278.
 Interstate 19 between mile markers 32 and 63.
 Route 86 between mile markers 165 and 171.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Pima
County through 330 PM MST...

At 250 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Tucson Estates, or 14 miles south of Marana, moving northwest at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and areas of blowing dust
         reducing visibility.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tucson, Marana, Casas Adobes, Drexel Heights, Flowing Wells, South
Tucson, Three Points, Avra Valley, Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation,
Tortolita, Tucson Estates, Saguaro National Park West, Valencia West,
Picture Rocks and Ryan AirField.
