The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Dickinson County in central Kansas...
  West central Geary County in east central Kansas...

* Until 745 PM CDT.
    
* At 709 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Chapman, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. At 709 PM trained spotters 
           reported a rotating wall cloud between Enterprise and 
           Interstate 70.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Junction City, Chapman and Moonlight. 

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 280 and 295.

NORTHEASTERN DICKINSON AND WEST CENTRAL GEARY COUNTIES...
    
At 724 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 5 miles northeast of Chapman, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Junction City.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 289 and 291.

GEARY COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
    
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central,
northeastern and east central Kansas.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Dickinson and Geary Counties until 800 PM.
