Caution is advised for all travelers as black ice and frost on roads are creating slick conditions across much of north-central and southwest Montana this morning. This is due to the combination of recent warmer air temperatures while road and ground surfaces remain at or below freezing. Assume any roads that appear wet or with frost on them to be icy, as subsurface road temperatures are still well below freezing across the region and will remain that way for the next several days.
