Some storms could be severe later today, with high winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado possible. Heat indices will be in the 90s west of the Saint Croix River valley today, and could approach 100 in west central Minnesota. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Heat indices of 95 or greater return late this week into next weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... SKYWARN spotter activation may be needed later this afternoon and this evening.

Clayton, or 24 miles southwest of Rice Lake, moving east at 50 mph.
