The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Covington County in south central Alabama...

* Until 1115 AM CDT.
    
* At 1023 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located 7 miles southwest of River Falls, or 7 miles
  southwest of Andalusia, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

NORTHEASTERN COVINGTON COUNTY...
    
At 1044 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 6 miles north of Opp, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Covington County.
