FOR EASTERN MARTIN COUNTY...

At 302 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Indiantown,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Indiantown and Palm City.

...Hot With Near Record High Temperatures this Afternoon...
...Isolated Strong-Severe Storms Near the Coast Late Today...

Morning Cape sounding shows an increase in SW flow in the low levels
which will produce unseasonably hot and humid conditions for early
April. Patchy stratus will lift as heating deepens mixing heights,
developing into a scattered, occasionally broken, high based cu
field. Hi res visible satellite imagery shows more congested cu
across north FL so expect isolated showers to affect northern
portions of Lake and Volusia counties late this morning, possibly a
thunderstorm. But this activity should lift NE and away from the
area.

The offshore flow will delay the development of the east coast sea
breeze allowing temperatures to reach near 90/lower 90s even at the
coast. Even when the sea breeze develops it will be pinned at the
coast. There is a good chance that some locations will equal or even
exceed their record highs for today (See below). The amount of
cloudiness at any given location could make the difference on
reaching a record or just falling short.

Rain/storm chances will be highest along the coast with 40-50
percent, decreasing farther inland. This is because there is
sufficient dry air aloft to prevent much convection until late in
the day as convergence along the sea breeze increases at the coast.
Strong sfc heating and rather cold temps aloft (-10C to -11C at
500mb) will support isolated strong to severe storms containing
strong wind gusts and hail near the coast then pushing quickly
offshore late this aftn and erly this evening. The drier air in the
mid levels should limit coverage of storms for most of the day but
then help produce strong wind gusts once the convection initiates.
A brief tornado/waterspout will be possible as low level shear will
be enhanced along the sea breeze.

.AVIATION...
IFR/MVFR CIGs affecting some terminals through 15Z. Breezy S/SW
winds 15 knots and gusty. Best chance for a sea breeze will be VRB-
SUA late this aftn backing winds out of the SE. The best chance for
TSRA will be over/near the coastal TAF sites aft 20Z containing
convective wind gusts 35 to 45 knots possible.

.MARINE...
No significant changes to current coastal waters forecast.
Conditions will remain choppy over the local waters. South to
southwest winds around 10-15kts increasing 15-20kts this aftn so
several marine zones have a Caution headline. A sea breeze should
develop south of the Cape mid to late aftn with breezy SE winds
close to the coast. Wind waves 2 to 3 feet, up to 4 feet offshore.
Scattered lightning storms will push offshore late this afternoon
and into this evening, some of which should be strong to severe.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Isolated to scattered lightning storms will develop this afternoon
over the interior and increase in coverage and intensity near the
coast late in the day. Some storms should become strong to
marginally severe as they interact with the east coast sea breeze
near the coast. The primary hazards will be wind gusts up to 60 mph,
hail, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning strikes. A brief
tornado will also be possible. Storms will move toward the northeast
at 25 to 30 mph.

.EXCESSIVE HEAT IMPACT...
Strong southwest flow will lead to unseasonably hot and humid
conditions this afternoon. Heat index values area forecast to reach
between 99 to 102 degrees across areas to the west of I-95 in
Brevard, eastern Orange, southeastern Osceola, Okeechobee, St.
Lucie, Indian River, and Martin counties.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
There is a Moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents. If you
decide to enter the ocean, do so only within sight of a lifeguard,
and never swim alone.

.MARINE THUNDERSTORM GUST IMPACT...
A few strong storms are possible late this afternoon and into this
evening as storms develop late this afternoon near the coast and
push offshore. A few storms will be capable of wind gusts in excess
of 34kts and hail.

.WATERSPOUT IMPACT...
A brief waterspout will be possible along the Atlantic coast and
intracoastal waters late this afternoon and evening.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
South to southwest winds of 15 knots, occasionally to 20 knots, are
forecast to produce choppy conditions over the local Atlantic
waters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
Scattered to numerous lightning storms are forecast on Thursday.
Some these storms will have the chance to become strong to
possibly severe with frequent lightning strikes, gusty winds, hail
or a brief tornado.

At 204 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fellsmere, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
