Washington, Hyde, Dare, northeastern Beaufort and Tyrrell Counties
through 745 PM EDT...

At 648 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Killkenny, or 29 miles southeast of Plymouth, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Stumpy Point, Belhaven, Sladesville, Killkenny, Manns Harbor, Ponzer,
Swindell Fork, Scranton, Gull Rock, Alligator, Gum Neck, Kilkenny,
