the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a Slight Risk for severe storms across the Midsouth
today. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat. Secondary
threats include large hail, flash flooding and a few short- lived
tornadoes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Strong to severe storms will possible again on Friday across
portions of Northeast Arkansas and North Mississippi. Damaging
winds will be the main threat but small hail and locally heavy
rainfall will also be possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed today. Additional activation is
possible on Friday. Please relay any information about observed
severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state, and
CDC guidelines.

southeastern Tippah and western Prentiss Counties through 1215 PM
CDT...

At 1145 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Keownville, or 9 miles southeast of Ripley, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.
