Saturated soils combined with heavy rainfall will lead to widespread urban and small stream flooding and scattered flash flooding. The highest rainfall totals are expected over northeast Mississippi. A few strong to severe storms are possible across portions of Eastern Arkansas and Northwest Mississippi tonight. Gusty winds are the main threat. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Heavy rain will continue on Wednesday. Saturated soils combined with heavy rainfall will lead to widespread urban and small stream flooding and scattered flash flooding. The highest rainfall totals are expected over northeast Mississippi. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
