This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms will continue through early this
afternoon as a strong storm system moves through the region. The
overall threat for strong to severe thunderstorms will be more
limited...mainly this morning across far southeast sections of the
state. Some small hail and gusty winds could be seen in these
areas this morning...with maybe an isolated severe thunderstorm
remaining possible.

Otherwise...the primary hazard through early this afternoon will
be the potential for heavy rainfall...and possible flash flooding
as a result. The southeast half to third of the state will be most
likely to see heavier rainfall. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches
are possible across far southern and southeast portions of the
area before the precipitation exits later this afternoon.

By this evening and overnight...the threat for hazardous weather
will become low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday Through Monday

Some light wintry weather could be seen in the higher terrain of
the Ozarks Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
However...the threat for seeing any impacts from this wintry
weather looks low at this time.

Otherwise...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
