Critical fire weather conditions are likely to develop Sunday afternoon generally along and west of a line from Tulia to Floydada to Post. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect from noon to 8 PM Sunday for the South Plains and the extreme southwestern Panhandle. Beyond Sunday, the probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
