...Strong thunderstorms impacting Simpson County through 245 PM
CDT...

At 212 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms from
9 miles north of Portland to 8 miles north of Cross Plains. Movement
was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 45 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hillsdale, Salmons, Black Jack, Neosheo, Middleton, Schweizer,
Geddes, Prices Mill, and Peden Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, seek shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
