Heat indices will peak between 100 and 105 degrees in most
locations through this evening ahead of any approaching storms.

There's a chance for thunderstorms through this evening with the
passage of a weak cold front. Some of these storms could become
severe with damaging wind gusts being the primary threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a small chance for thunderstorms across far southeast
Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. A stronger cold front will bring a
better chance for thunderstorms from Sunday afternoon into Monday.

a line extending from Andy to Emmalena. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
