This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A deep area of low pressure off the Pacific Northwest will cause
strong winds to form this afternoon with widespread gusts of 25
to 35 mph being common. The northern valleys may see gusts
exceeding 45 mph so wind advisories remain in place for that
area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Gusty winds continue Tuesday ahead of the next storm system. This
system looks to bring widespread snow to the higher elevations of
eastern Utah and western Colorado starting Wednesday evening
through Thursday evening. After that, high pressure builds in for
the weekend as temperatures remain cool...about 10 degrees cooler
than usual for this time of year.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report excessive wind or any observed
wind related damage to the National Weather Service in Grand
Junction.
