Some patchy blowing dust is possible this afternoon especially along the Interstate 10 corridor. Elevated fire danger conditions will be present this afternoon. Winds will diminish in the evening hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Strong southwest to west winds are expected Wednesday afternoon. Sustained wind speeds between 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph will be possible for areas north and west of El Paso to the Arizona state line. Extensive blowing dust is also expected to occur with the winds. Critical fire danger levels will occur for mainly the desert lowlands and grasslands. Mostly light snow showers and flurries will be possible for the mountains of the Gila Region and Sacramento mountains Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
