.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, mainly through 3
PM for the Genesee Valley to the western Finger Lakes, and from 2 PM
to 6 PM for the North Country to the east of Lake Ontario. The
primary hazard will be damaging wind gusts. Heavy rain could also
occur.

Frost is possible in sheltered areas Tuesday night well inland from
Lake Ontario.

At 1024 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Honeoye, or 13 miles southwest of Canandaigua, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Canandaigua, Victor, Bristol, Clifton Springs, Phelps, Bloomfield,
Honeoye, Farmington, East Bloomfield, Manchester, Canadice,

Cayuga and southwestern Oswego Counties through 145 PM EDT...

At 1221 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sheldrake, or 14 miles northeast of Dundee, moving northeast at 60
mph. 1.0 to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen across this area due to
training storms.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and heavy rain.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Heavy rains could cause flooding.
