...SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBLE TONIGHT...

This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.
TORNADO.
	RISK...Limited.
	AREA...South of Interstate 40.
	ONSET...After midnight.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
	RISK...Elevated.
	AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
	ONSET...After 9 PM.

FLASH FLOOD.
	RISK...Limited.
	AREA...Northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas.
	ONSET...After midnight.

DISCUSSION...
Showers and scattered storms will spread into eastern Oklahoma
and northwest Arkansas during the evening hours.  These storms
will initially pose a limited risk of severe weather with large
hail the primary risk.  Storm coverage will increase after
midnight and become widespread north of Interstate 40 where
areas of locally heavy rainfall are forecast.  This heavy rain
will increase the potential for localized flooding.
The severe weather risk will also increase after midnight as
stronger storms spread into the region.  A localized strong
wind hazard may spread along the Interstate 44 corridor however
the primary concern will remain large hail. Further south mainly
across southeast Oklahoma the potential for large hail, localized
strong winds and tornado potential will exist.  The risk of
severe weather will continue into the early morning hours on
Monday before a passing cold front ends the severe weather
potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Storms will be ongoing early Monday morning with a continued
risk of severe weather across far southeast Oklahoma and
west central Arkansas.  The next storm system will bring a
chance of light freezing rain or snow to the region Tuesday
night and early Wednesday with light accumulations possible.
Breezy winds develop by late week ahead of the next storm
system.
