.DISCUSSION...
Ridging to the south has caused a south to southwest flow once
again. This helped to bring a few showers from the gulf to the
coastal areas. As we go throughout the afternoon the main focus
for shower and storm activity will be inland. The south to
southwest flow will help to push the shower activity to the east
coast of the Florida in the evening hours.

The ridge will start to shift north on Sunday. This is going to
bring us into a more neutral flow pattern to wrap up the weekend.
Neutral flow tends to favor inland shower activity as the east
and west coast seabreeze collide.

The ridge will move north of the area by Monday and looks to stay
north of us for much of the work week. This will keep our flow
easterly through the week. This type of pattern tends to favor
inland shower and storm activity in the afternoon before the
storms start to push towards the west coast in the evening.

.AVIATION...
VFR conditions expected through the period outside of thunderstorm
activity. Best chance for thunderstorms will be at our southern
and inland terminals with VCTS for most in the late afternoon and
evening hours. Winds will remain out of the southwest with a
seabreeze occurring at our coastal sites.

.MARINE...
Winds will remain mainly below 10 knots through the next 5
days. Ridging will start to shift north and this will shift winds
from the southwest to the east through Sunday and Monday. The only
main weather hazard will be isolated to scattered shower and
thunderstorm activity in the afternoon and evening hours each day.

Summer time moisture in place with no fire weather concerns.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Pasco
and northeastern Hillsborough Counties through 315 PM EDT...

At 245 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pebble Creek, or near Temple Terrace, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tampa, Temple Terrace, Lutz, Zephyrhills West, Hillsborough River
State Park, Pebble Creek, Wesley Chapel South, Zephyrhills South,
University, Wesley Chapel, Thonotosassa, New Tampa, Meadow Pointe,
Lettuce Lake Park and Crystal Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
