Smoke from western wildfires will increase across Utah tonight. For latest air quality information and forecasts please refer to the Utah State DEQ. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Smoke from western wildfires will continue to increase across Utah Sunday. For latest air quality information and forecasts please refer to the Utah State DEQ. There is the potential for widespread moderate to heavy rainfall from Tuesday through Thursday across much of Utah. Elevations above around 11,000 feet may even see a changeover to snow for a time Wednesday night into Thursday morning. County through 400 PM MDT...
At 318 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northwest of Paragonah, or 21 miles north of Cedar City, moving
west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Iron
County.

miles south of Cedar Breaks National Monument, or 14 miles northeast
of Zion National Park, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
