East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...
* Until 415 PM MDT.
* At 113 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across southeastern portions of Zion national park.
Between 0.25 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. The heaviest rain has
fallen across the East Fork of the Virgin River. Heavy rain is now
moving north into the Pine Creek, Clear Creek, and Spry Canyon
areas. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

AFTERNOON FOR WEST CENTRAL KANE AND EAST CENTRAL WASHINGTON
COUNTIES...
At 153 PM MDT, Zion National Park Rangers reported a significant
flash flood in Pine Creek. Other areas that will likely see flash
flooding continue to be the East Fork of the Virgin River, Spry
Canyon, Lower Clear Creek, and Shelf Canyon. Between 0.5 and 1.5
inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is occurring. If in these
areas retreat to higher ground immediately!
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTIES...
Flood waters are receding, but elevated flows remain in Pine Creek
and the East Fork of the Virgin River. In discussion with Zion
National Park, the Flash Flood Warning will be allowed to expire, as
no additional flash flooding is expected. Please continue to heed
remaining park closures.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM MDT Tuesday for
portions of southern Utah and southwest Utah.
