This high pressure will bring the potential of record to near record temperatures to Utah and southwest Wyoming. The warmest day is expected to be Friday, but temperatures will only cool slightly for the weekend. Afternoon max temperatures are expected to exceed 100 degrees in the lowest valleys of far southern Utah through Saturday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Strong high pressure will build across the area through Friday. This high pressure will bring the potential of record to near record temperatures to Utah and southwest Wyoming. The warmest day is expected to be Friday, but temperatures will only cool slightly for the weekend. Afternoon max temperatures are expected to exceed 100 degrees in the lowest valleys of far southern Utah through Saturday.
