...LAKE WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph are
  expected through the remainder of the afternoon, becoming
  northwest 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts behind the passage of a
  cold front through early this evening.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, 
  southwest Arkansas and east and northeast Texas.

* WHEN...Through 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will 
  create hazardous conditions for small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.

.AVIATION...

MVFR ceilings are developing quickly across NE TX attm and expect
these ceilings to continue spreading north and east through the
remainder of the overnight hours. Look for those ceilings to
prevail through much of the day Thursday ahead of a cold front
that will be moving through our terminal sites by late in the
afternoon and early evening hours. Continued to mention the
possibility of VCSH across all but our NE TX terminal locations
ahead of the cold front on Thu. Strong prefrontal winds from the
south, sustained near 12-17kts with higher gusts will be likely on
Thu with those winds shifting to the northwest, remaining strong
and gusty late on Thu until 00z with the winds quickly diminishing.
Should lose the MVFR ceilings quickly behind the front as well
with VFR conditions returning towards the later half of the TAF
period.

UPDATE...

Low level warm air advection is underway across the Four State
Region but the lack of low level cloud cover has resulted in 03z
temperatures falling dangerously low to overnight low temperatures
and has even exceeded those temperatures in a few locations.
Starting to see some low level cloud cover now in IR Imagery and
once this moisture begins moving northward and becomes widespread,
the nocturnal temperature drop will cease and we will actually
begin to warm some overnight. But until this occurs, needed to
update the forecast and lower overnight mins slightly across the
region, but more pronounced across our eastern third as these
locations should be the last to see the cloud cover.

All other grids are in good shape but did adjust hourly dewpoints
and RH grids to mimic current and forecast trends. Update has
already been sent...13.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday...

Isolated to scattered showers will return to the region Thursday
into Thursday evening as a cold front passes through the area.
Wind gusts of 20-30 mph will allow for hazardous conditions for
small craft on area lakes. Otherwise, thunderstorms are not
anticipated with the frontal passage and no hazardous weather is
expected Friday through Tuesday.
