For the 22/18Z TAFs, VFR conditions will prevail at all area
terminals, with scattered clouds at TXK/SHV/ELD/MLU through the
afternoon. Winds will be generally from the west/southwest,
shifting to from the northwest in our eastern zones by Monday
afternoon. Isolated showers and storms are possible this afternoon
between 222/0Z and 23/00Z in our northeastern zones, thus
carrying VCTS at ELD/MLU. These same terminals as well as LFK may
see a reduction in visibility to 6SM with possible BR around
23/12Z.

UPDATE...
As of 15Z, air temperatures are warming into the mid to upper 80s
areawide, consistent with the latest forecast package. Ingested
the last several hours of temp and dewpoint obs and interpolated
through the remainder of the daytime hours. Maintaining afternoon
highs in the mid to upper 90s and dewpoints in the mid 70s,
combining to yield heat indices in the 105-109F range this
afternoon, particularly between 18Z and 22Z. A Heat Advisory
remains in effect for the entire Four State Region until 00Z. A
decision regarding continuing the advisory will be made based on
this afternoon's forecast package.
Otherwise, smoothed out PoP grids, maintaining slight chances at
or below 25% in our northern and eastern zones of southwest
Arkansas and north central Louisiana. RAP13 continues to indicate
isolated convection across the aforementioned zones from 20Z
through 00Z.
