At 653 PM CDT, While rainfall has ended for the time being, runoff
from earlier rains continues to cause flooding. The most recent
road closure Highway D at Center Creek, though other highways have
been affected including Missouri Highway 86.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

The Flash Flood Warning has been replaced with a Flood Advisory.
Runoff from heavy rains earlier in the day has diminished and rapid
rises are no longer expected. Flood prone locations will continue to
experience high water levels overnight.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT Tuesday for
Portions of southeast Kansas. Portions of Missouri. Should heavy
rain move back into the previously warned area additional Flash
Flood Warnings may be required.
