* Flash Flood Warning for...
  McDonald County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 552 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 
  1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Pineville, Anderson, Noel, Goodman, South West City, Lanagan, 
  Dodge and Cayuga.

This includes the following low water crossings...
  Highway 43 at Buffalo Creek west of Anderson, Route DD at The Elk 
  River just north of Noel, Highway 76, 3 miles west of Anderson and 
  Highway 90 at Little Sugar Creek near Jane.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
