Thunderstorms are expected to develop along and south of an approaching cold front late this afternoon and evening. The strongest storms could produce hail larger than quarter size and wind gusts over 60 mph. There will be a limited risk for tornadoes over south central Missouri through mid evening, mainly along and east of a line from Gainesville to Salem, where more instability is located. Storms will shift to the east of the Missouri Ozarks tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Southerly wind gusts over 30 mph are expected on Monday across western Missouri and southeast Kansas as low pressure develops across the central high Plains.
