Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 5500.0 cfs, South Prairie Creek will cause flooding 
  from above the Town of South Prairie downstream to the Carbon 
  River. Flood waters will inundate roads, residential areas, and 
  farms, including South Prairie - Carbon River Rd., South Prairie 
  Rd. East, Spring Site Rd., and SR 162.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:15 PM PST Friday the flow was 5600.0 cfs.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river flow in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 AM PST Friday was 3330.0 cfs.

  also increase the threat of channel migration and bank erosion.
