Buckingham County in central Virginia...
* Until 800 PM EDT.
* At 705 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Centenary, or
10 miles north of Buckingham, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

ponding of water on roadways, standing water in low lying areas, and
minor flooding of creeks, streams, and areas of poor drainage.

COUNTY HAS EXPIRED...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire. However heavy
rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
Note, a Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for this area until
915 PM EDT as over 3 inches of rain has fallen during the past
couple of hours in parts of northern Buckingham County. Flash
Flooding remains likely in this region.
