  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM EDT THIS 
EVENING FOR WEST CENTRAL APPOMATTOX AND NORTHEASTERN CAMPBELL 
COUNTIES...

At 555 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to 
thunderstorms has ended. However, runoff from between 2.5 and 3.5 
inches of rain that fell during late afternoon will continue to 
collect in local creeks and rivers, which may push them out of their 
banks to result in localized flash flooding.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
