AND WESTERN CARTER COUNTIES...
At 434 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Waltz to Brandy to Yale. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Olive Hill, Carter Caves State Park, Gesling, Carter, Grahn, Soldier
and Globe.
This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 149 and
166.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

At 600 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Cannonsburg to near Yatesville Lake
State Park to near Webbville. Movement was east at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 45 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Huntington, Louisa, Wayne, Beech Fork State Park, Yatesville Lake
State Park, Barboursville, Ceredo, Fort Gay, Durbin, East Lynn Lake,
Burnaugh, Centerville, Lockwood, Lavalette, Buchanan, Houckville, Pea
Ridge, Fallsburg, East Lynn and Genoa.
This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 5
and 17.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
