* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Gallia County in southeastern Ohio...
  West Central Meigs County in southeastern Ohio...
  Southeastern Vinton County in southeastern Ohio...
  Northwestern Mason County in western West Virginia...

* Until 700 PM EDT.

* At 349 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Point Pleasant, Pomeroy, Rutland, Middleport, Vinton, Wilkesville, 
  Cheshire, Kyger, Salem Center and Lakin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING 
FOR NORTHEASTERN GALLIA, WEST CENTRAL MEIGS, SOUTHEASTERN VINTON AND 
NORTHWESTERN MASON COUNTIES...

At 517 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have 
fallen. However, only light rain is falling across the warned area 
at this time. Flash flooding should be ongoing or expected to begin 
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
