severe storm is also possible.

Additionally, heat index values this afternoon are expected to peak
between 100 and 105 degrees.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of west central
Cumberland and east central Hoke Counties through 845 AM EDT...

At 745 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Raeford, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Pope AFB, Spring Lake, Rockfish and Bonnie
Doone.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
