GRANVILLE AND DURHAM COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM EDT...

At 410 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hillsborough, moving east southeast at 25 mph.

Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Durham, Hillsborough, Butner, Rougemont, Stem, Lake Michie, Eno River
State Park, Gorman, Bahama and Schley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. Wind gusts as high as
50 mph are capable of knocking down small or weakened trees and
blowing around light outdoor objects.
