The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Prowers County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 510 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lamar, moving
  east at 40 mph.

  This is a very dangerous storm.

  HAZARD...90 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...A significant severe wind gust of 93 mph has been 
           measured at the Lamar automated observing site.

  IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris 
           may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile 
           homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and 
           businesses will have substantial roof and window damage. 
           Expect extensive tree damage and power outages.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lamar, Holly, Granada, Hartman and Bristol. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
