* At 446 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Indian Creek, south Middle Creek, and Big Branch
Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and
other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly. Highway 12 near Big Branch Creek is closed due to burn
scar flash flood debris.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Indian Creek, south Middle Creek, and Big Branch
Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and
other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

SOUTH CENTRAL HUERFANO COUNTY...
Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures. Highway 12 has reopened. Through collaboration with
EMs we are going to allow this warning to expire.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT for portions
of central Colorado, east central Colorado, south central Colorado
and southeast Colorado.
