873 WWUS81 KPHI 180227 SPSPHI Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ 1027 PM EDT Sat Jul 17 2021 NJZ016>019-021-022-027-180300- Northwestern Burlington-Salem-Cumberland-Camden-Atlantic-Gloucester-Southeastern Burlington- 1027 PM EDT Sat Jul 17 2021 ...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...NORTHERN CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN SALEM...SOUTHERN CAMDEN...SOUTHEASTERN GLOUCESTER AND CENTRAL BURLINGTON COUNTIES... At 1027 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Medford to near Seabrook Farms. Movement was east at 30 mph. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms. Locations impacted include... Vineland, Millville, Bridgeton, Cumberland, Evesham, Voorhees, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Hammonton, Pitman, Clayton, Berlin, Tabernacle, Shamong, Buena, Laurel Lake, Alloway, Weymouth, Chesilhurst and Newfield. This includes Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 22 and 44. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
