Coastal and outer waters from Sandy Hook to Manasquan Inlet NJ...
* Until 600 AM EDT.
* At 458 AM EDT, thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were
located along a line extending from near Belmar to 12 nm southwest
of Buoy 44025, moving north at 30 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
