Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* At 11:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 17.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 11:00 PM CDT Monday was 17.2 feet.
* Forecast...The Cimarron River is expected to rise to a crest of
18.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Places along the Cimarron River valley in
Payne County are briefly flooded to depths of about a foot.
Agricultural lands and oil wells located near the river banks are
inundated or cut off by water in side channels.
