At 715 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Yorktown
Heights, or near Peekskill, moving east at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Peekskill, Mount Kisco, Mahopac, Lake Carmel, Brewster, Ridgefield,
Carmel, Bedford, Yorktown Heights, Jefferson Valley, Putnam Valley,
Croton-on-Hudson, Brewster Hill, Golden's Bridge and Peach Lake.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
