Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

An isolated strong storm is possible this afternoon along with
the possibility of localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A few isolated strong storms will be possible Monday, with strong
gusty winds the primary threat. Showers and thunderstorms on
both Monday and Tuesday will have the potential to produce heavy
rainfall, which may cause localized flooding. Afterwards, the
probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MARION COUNTY UNTIL 545 PM CDT...

At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Sewanee, or 13 miles northwest of Bridgeport, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Jasper, South Pittsburg, Whitwell, Kimball, Monteagle, Powells
Crossroads, Orme, Martin Springs, Fiery Gizzard State Park and
Griffith Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

MEIGS AND NORTHERN HAMILTON COUNTIES UNTIL 730 PM EDT/630 PM CDT/...

At 651 PM EDT/551 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of
Pikeville to Dunlap to near Whitwell. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Dayton, Dunlap, Pikeville, Decatur, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain,
Spring City, Walden, Lakesite and Fairmount.
