...The National Weather Service in Morristown TN has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in Georgia...Tennessee...

  Toccoa/Ocoee River Above Copperhill TN affecting Fannin and Polk 
  Counties.

For the Ocoee River...including Copperhill TN, OCOEE DAM #1 
PARKSVILLE...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Toccoa/Ocoee River Above Copperhill TN.
* Until late tonight.
* At 1:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  afternoon to a crest of 9.0 feet this evening. It will then fall 
  below flood stage late this evening.
* Impact...At 6.0 feet, Bankfull conditions are reached along the 
  river upstream and downstream from the gage off of Tennessee 
  Highway 68 or Ocoee Street in west Copperhill Tennessee. This 
  includes low lying portions of the Horsebend Park in McCaysville 
  Georgia.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding 
  begins of woodlands, fields and backyards of homes near the river 
  upstream and downstream from the gage off Tennessee Highway 68 or 
  Ocoee Street in Copperhill Tennessee. The rock access road to the 
  gage will begin to flood. Flooding begins in the backyards of 
  homes and the Horsebend Park in McCaysville Georgia.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, Minor flooding expands into woodlands, 
  fields, and backyards of homes near the river. The rock access 
  road to the gage will be under two feet of water. Portions of 
  parking lots near the river will begin to flood behind the 
  Copperhill Tennessee Post Office and other businesses along Ocoee 
  Street. Also flooding expands into the backyards of homes and the 
  Horsebend Park in McCaysville Georgia.
* Flood History...No available flood history.
