Locally heavy snow showers off Lake Superior will likely impact
portions of the Keweenaw Peninsula Friday...as well areas east of
Escanaba off Lake Michigan Friday and Friday night.

Periods of lake-effect snow and cold wind chills to around 15 to
30 below zero will persist into this weekend.
