* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
South Central Escambia County in northwestern Florida...
* Until 745 PM CDT.
* At 146 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of showers and
thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across the warned area.
Between 3 and 5 inches of rain with isolated higher totals have
fallen across much of southern Escambia county and southeastern
Baldwin county. Additional showers and storms capable of producing
torrential rainfall will continue to move into the warned area
through this afternoon. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

COUNTIES...
At 251 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of very heavy rain
moving across the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain with
isolated higher totals have already fallen across much of southern
Escambia county and southeastern Baldwin county. At 246 PM CDT,
Baldwin county emergency management officials reported significant
flash flooding on Highway 98 in Lillian with cars being washed away.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
