The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
* Until 630 PM CDT.
* At 1230 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of showers and
thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across the warned area.
Between 2 and 4 inches of rain with isolated higher totals have
fallen across much of southern Baldwin county. Additional showers
and storms capable of producing torrential rainfall will continue
to move into the warned area through this afternoon. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

EVENING FOR SOUTHERN BALDWIN COUNTY...
At 239 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of showers and
thunderstorms producing moderate to heavy rain across the warned
area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain with isolated higher totals
over 6 inches have fallen across much of southern Baldwin county. At
230 PM CDT, Baldwin County Emergency Management officials reported
water covering the roads in numerous places, including near the
communities of Elberta, Miflin, and Orange Beach.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
