* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Mobile County in southwestern Alabama...

* Until 415 PM CDT Wednesday.

* At 1011 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of very heavy rain 
  moving across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain with 
  locally higher amounts have already fallen early this morning. 
  Additional bands of showers and thunderstorms producing torrential 
  downpours will also move into the warned area later this morning 
  into early this afternoon. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

AFTERNOON FOR MOBILE COUNTY...

At 1208 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
heavy rain across much of Mobile county. Between 2 and 4 inches of 
rain have fallen and additional heavy rainfall will continue into 
early this afternoon. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall over 
already saturated grounds will likely result in flash flooding over 
the warned area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR MOBILE COUNTY...

At 102 PM CDT, Showers containing very heavy rainfall continued to 
move across much of the warned area. At 1230 PM CDT, local law 
enforcement reported numerous roads that were impassable due to 
flash flooding near Bayou La Batre, including parts of Shell Belt 
Road, Railroad Street, and State Docks Road. Between 2 and 4 inches 
of rain with locally higher amounts have already fallen. Additional 
showers and storms will continue to move over the warned area 
through early this afternoon. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
