...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT ST. LUCIE...OKEECHOBEE
AND SOUTHERN INDIAN RIVER COUNTIES...

At 610 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from South Beach to 8 miles southwest of
Kissimmee Prairie Preserve. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Vero Beach South, Saint Lucie Nuclear Power
Plant and Basinger.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Funnel clouds can occasionally touch down and produce brief small
tornadoes. Move indoors and stay away from windows.
